Goalkeeper Showcase

The United Goalkeeping Alliance (UGKA) is offering opportunities for goalkeepers to display their abilities. To accommodate schedules, the UGKA is offering multiple options during these select events nationwide. These goalkeeping events are a great opportunity for goalkeepers to demonstrate their abilities in a competitive and supportive environment.

Structure: The following goalkeeper skills will be on display: communication, distribution, shot stopping, reaction saves, crossing, angle play, cut-backs (2nd/3rd goal scenarios), and one touch finishes in the red zone.

• Dynamic warm up

• Footwork warm up

• Technical warm up

50 Minute Training Session Showcasing:

• Distribution

• Decision making

• Communication

• Positioning

• Shot stopping

• Crossing

• One on Ones

The number of goalkeepers is capped at 32 per session.

​

Note: Only one goalkeeper showcase per event.

• This clinic is open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender).

 

• Free or reduced admission was not provided to high school aged athletics award winners. This clinic does not employ high school aged athletics award winners.

 

• This clinic is not sponsored or conducted by an individual or organization that provides recruiting or scouting services concerning prospective student-athletes.
